Betty Lou Roberts, the daughter of Leo and Geneva (James) Wilson, was born on August 23, 1929 at Culter, Indiana. She passed away on July 22, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Society in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 22 days.

Betty grew up and attended school. She was united in marriage to Robert Jenkins.

Betty lived all her life in Indiana until moving to Superior, Nebraska in Septemer of 2007, to be closer to her daughter Shirley Follmer.

She had a great love for all children, and had a heart of gold. She would give you the shirt off her back. She enjoyed flowers and working in her yard.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert on April 18, 1966; 2 brothers, Max and Cleo Wilson and 1 sister, Ruby Allen.

Survivors include her children, Connie Lucas of Bristol, Tennessee, Larry Jenkins of Superior, Nebraska, Dana Jenkins and wife Sheree of Madison, New York, Shirley Follmer and husband Gary of Superior, Nebraska, Greg Jenkins and wife Carol of Mexico, Indiana and Sharon Hall of Delphi, Indiana; 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one sister, Jean Crowe of Colfax, Indiana; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Flora, Indiana.
