Arthur Lee Dillon, the son of Curtis and Velma Dillon, was born on November 29, 1920 on the farm in Sesser, Illinois. He passed away on January 21, 2010 at the age of 89 years, 1 month and 22 days.

He went to work in the coal mines at 18 years to help with the family expenses. In 1941 he was inducted into the United States Navy and was sent to Pearl Harbor after it was bombed to help with the clean up and repair and was honorably discharged in 1945. He was united in marriage to Jean Marie Dailey on December 17, 1949 in California and to this union 3 children were born. He owned and operated a dry cleaning business in Newport Beach, and later drove a truck for Straub Distributing. After his retirement they sold their home and bought an RV and traveled to Nebraska for many years to visit relatives and friends in Superior.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer Jean Witcher and husband Alan, Debra Dee Coleman and Jeffrey Jay Dillon; 5 grandchildren, Curtis and Matthew Witcher, Brian Demetrius and Brett and Patrick Dillon; 1 great grandchild and siblings, Darlene Butler and Richard Dillon.
