Christian Biography of Amanda Jean Sanders

Amanda Jean Sanders, the daughter of Stephen and Candice (Overton) Garcia-Sanders, was born on July 16, 1986 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She passed away on November 25, 2012 at Thayer County Health Services at the age of 26 years, 4 months, 9 days.

Amanda attended the Lawrence Nelson schools. She loved to sing and dance and write poetry, watch Saturday morning cartoons, enjoyed fishing, camping, grilling and horses. She loved the family get together's and Sunday dinners. Her favorite color was Lime Green. Her four children were the love of her life. She lived life to the fullest and never regretted a single day or a single moment.

She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Sanders, grandparents James and Julia Sanders and a nephew Corbin Nathaniel Andreasen.

She is survived by her children, Alexis, Destiny and Ryan Lintz and Candice Collins all of Hardy, Nebraska; her mother Candice Garcia-Sanders of Belleville, Kansas; grandparents John and Tammie Overton of Hardy, Nebraska and Leslie and Erma Wilson of Ulysses, Nebraska; siblings, Robert Sanders and wife Rhonda of Bradenton, Florida, Cherrill Byrket of Bradenton, Florida, Angela Jerden and husband Stanley of Superior, Nebraska, April Perrie and husband Eric of Superior, Nebraska, Autumn Andreasen and husband Rory of Scottsville, Kansas, Anthony Sanders of Concordia, Kansas, Andrew Sanders of Nelson, Nebraska and Alicia Sanders of Beloit, Kansas; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior, Nebraska with Dr. Jeff Collins officiating.

Music was "Sissy's Song" by Alan Jackson, "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion, "Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler, "Tears In Heaven" by Eric Clapton and "Both Sides Now" by Joni Mitchell, duet "Over You" and "Bless The Broken Road" by Mariah Schnell and Shana McGee.

Visitation was held on November 28, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the family present to greet friends at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior, Nebraska.

Pallbearers were Anthony Sanders, Andrew Sanders, Eric Perrie, Rory Andreasen, Trenton Schnell and Stan Jerden.

Graveside Interment was Saturday December 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the Shaler Cemetery near Freeman, Missouri with Pastor Henry Green officiating.

Memorials are suggested to go towards the funeral expenses in care of Price Funeral Home
