Christian biography of Andrew James Bruning

Andrew James Bruning, 24, of Greeley, Colorado passed away on January 17, 2019. Andrew was born June 24, 1994 in Greeley, Colorado to Kris and Paula Bruning.

Andrew grew up in Greeley, and graduated from Greeley West High School in 2013. He was an avid athlete, and played football and baseball throughout his years.

Andrew is survived by his parents, Kris Bruning and Paula Bruning, both of Greeley; brothers, Matthew Bruning of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Carter Dale Bruning of Greeley; grandmothers Shareth Bruning and Joanne Genualdi; and son, Braxton James Bruning.

Andrew lived a big life full of tenacity and strength. His son Braxton and his mother, Jenea, made him want to overcome challenges in his life and not give up. Igniting a room with laughter was a natural gift; and his friends and family would agree that life with Andrew was never boring. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Greeley, Colorado January 23, 2018 at 11am.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on January 22, 2018 at the Allnut-Macy Funeral Chapel, 702 13 ^th Street, Greely, Colorado.

Memorial contributions may be made to Greeley West High School Football Program in care of Allnutt - Macy Chapel or the Megrue-Price Funeral Home.

LOCAL SERVICES:

Graveside services and Burial will be held on Saturday January 26, 2018 at the Bruning Public Cemetery, Bruning, Nebraska at 2:30 PM WITH Pastor Robert Hopkins officiating.

There will be a luncheon at the Centennial Lutheran Church, Superior, Nebraska  at 11:30 AM for everyone to greet the family.

Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior, Nebraska is in charge of the local arrangements.
