Arlo Ray Schoenrock

Arlo Ray Schoenrock, the son of Paul and Ruth Schoenrock was born on December 5,1941 in Alexandria Nebraska.  Arlo grew up on a farm west of Fairbury and was baptized and confirmed at Zion Evangelical and Reform Church in Alexandria.  After graduating from Fairbury High School in 1959, he attended Nebraska Vocational Technical School in Milford, Nebraska (autobody technology).  He spent much of his life in Superior, Nebraska working for Bill Morris Ford and then was owner/operator of Arlo's Auto and Body.  He spent most of his retirement years in Superior.

Arlo enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as boating and camping and spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He was famous among his family for his homemade popcorn and loved ice cream and frozen Cokes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ruth Schoenrock and brother Gary Schoenrock.

He is survived by his children  Angela(Steven) Helmke, Denver, CO;  Scott (Kayla) Wombacher, Fairbury, NE;  Shana (Derek) Kennedy, Clovis, CA;  Travis Schoenrock, Superior, NE;  Ken (Whitney) Wombacher, Gretna, NE;   brother Verl (Barb) Schoenrock, Fairbury, NE and sister,  Gan Humfeld, Perham, MN; Grandchildren: Jessica Alpert, Boston, MA; Tyler Alpert, Thornton, CO; Shiann (Tyler) Marr, Courtland, KS; Shawnee (Walker) Cool, Superior, NE; Kalee (Anthony) Hildreth, Chicago, IL; Courtney (Adam) Felts, Wichita, KS; Austin Kennedy, Clovis, CA; Zachary Kennedy, Kearney, NE; Chelsea (Darren) Wilson,  Fresno, CA; Miranda (Jared) Gallatin, Ellensburg, WA; Alec Wombacher, Isaac Wombacher, Elijah Wombacher, Amelia Wombacher, Jade Wombacher and Olivia Wombacher Gretna, NE, and great grandchildren Emery and Murphy Felts, Wichita, KS; Kaymbri Cool, Superior, NE; Nash and Arian Kennedy, Clovis, CA; Zayne Kennedy, Kearney, NE; Dakota Wilson and Baby Wilson (arriving in September), Fresno, CA.
