Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Jensen, age 58, of Grand Island, formerly of Superior passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

Becky was born April 10, 1965, in Lincoln, the daughter of Donald and Shirleen (Thomas) Strine. She grew up in Superior and graduated from Superior High School, class of 1983.

As a young girl, she was cooking in her parent's restaurant, and her love of cooking never left her. She was a cook in several places including the Vestey Center in Superior. According to her family she made the very best pies and was known as the "Master Pie Baker".
For many years, Becky was an in-home health care provider. Her caring nature extended to her love of animals and especially to her family.

She is preceded by her father, Donald Strine; sister, Kathy Nielsen; and sister-in-law, Melinda Darling.

Becky's memory is cherished by her daughter, Amanda Jensen of Grand Island; son, Vincent Jensen of Grand Island; one beloved granddaughter, Aubree, with another on the way; mother, Shirleen Redinger of Hastings; and father of her children, Todd Jensen.
She is also survived by brothers, Kevin Darling and Kelvin Darling, both of Grand Island; sisters, Korena (Donald) Hoshaw of Hastings and Dodi (Gary) Holling of Superior; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a Celebration of Becky's life held on Saturday, December 16th, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the VFW in Superior. (118 S Central Avenue)
