Obituary

Cameron Blue Gray, the son of James and Irene (Rogge) Gray, was born on February 4, 1985 in Hastings, Nebraska. He passed away on October 19, 2022 near Hanover, Kansas at the age of 37 years, 8 months, 15 days.

Cameron attended several schools in various states, graduating from Clay Center High School in Nebraska. He furthered his education at Midland College, York Community College, Central Community College and Beatrice Community College earning an LPN on June 8, 2018. He was employed as a traveling LPN which sent him all over the country to Florida, Colorado where he truly loved the mountains and mountain lakes, Kansas and Nebraska.

He loved his dogs, Tucker, Kona, McGee, Elvis and Sug'. In his spare time he enjoyed working out at the YMCA, photography, and playing basketball, football, golf, track and field and wrestling. He was a huge sports fan and was learning to become a hunter. Blue also helped create the "bluebone" custom apparel and clothing line.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Henry and Alice Rogge and Leonard and Donna Wilhelms; the death of his brother Matthew T. Gray was very personal to Blue and he chose the nursing field to help others and also uncles Randy, Bobby and Thom Wilhelms.

Survivors include his parents Jim Gray and Irene Rogge; and his brothers Terence (Angelique) Miller and Tycen Miller all of Hastings, Nebraska, nephew Stephen Miller of Omaha, Nebraska along with other relatives and a host of friends.
