Christian Biography of Celeste Nelson

Celeste Maxine Nelson, the daughter of Murl and Maxine (Doyle) Nelson, was born on November 30, 1963 in Los Angeles, California. She passed away on June 2, 2025 at her home in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 61 years, 6 months, 3 days.

Celeste grew up on a farm in White Rock, Kansas and received her formal education attending the Burr Oak schools, graduating from Burr Oak High School. She continued her education attending 2 years at Central Community College in Hastings. She was a member of the Mankato Baptist Church and was baptized in May of 1977. She lived on the East Coast for a while, working date entry at various banks. She later moved to Superior where she resided until her passing. In her younger years she was in 4-H and was active in the church.

Celeste enjoyed fishing and sunbathing in the sun. She had a love for her dogs whom were her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Murl and Maxine and her sister Diane Nelson.

Survivors include her sister Patricia Jones and niece Taylor Jones both of Omaha, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Graveside Memorial services will be held on Saturday July 12, 2025 at 10:30 am at the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior, Nebraska with Jon Albright officiating.

Memorials are suggested to go in care of the family.
