Christian Biography of Christopher "Chris" Lovegrove
Christopher Steven Lovegrove, the son of Ronald and Beth (Stark) Lovegrove, was born on December 18, 1987 in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away on October 31, 2020 due to a motorcycle accident south and east of Superior, Nebraska in Jewell County, Kansas at the age of 32 years, 10 months, 13 days.
Chris was a 2006 Superior High School graduate. He was employed as a loader operator/supervisor for Deweese Sand and Gravel. On July 1, 2017 he married Britni Oakman at John & Beth's cabin south of Lovewell Lake.
Chris was an avid fisherman and hunter, and liked to deer hunt with a bow and fish at Lovewell and the Jewell County State Lake. He even dabbled in taxidermy at one time. He enjoyed car racing, running cruisers with his brother Andy and single driver hobby stock. Together with his close friends they all enjoyed their campers, boats, motorcycles, going to the lake and the river and taking road trips. Their motorcycle club even had a name, the "Misfit Riders" Chris loved spending time with his family and especially taking Kylee swimming at grandma Beth's house. He will be missed by all.
Chris was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bernie Lovegrove, great-grandmother, Betty Doty and aunt Connie Stark.
He is survived by his wife Britni and daughter Kylee of Superior, Nebraska. Parents, Ron (Natalie) Lovegrove of Hastings, Nebraska and Beth (John) Stark Lovegrove of Mankato, Kansas. One brother Andy Lovegrove of Superior, Nebraska. Mother and father-in-law's, Melissa (Brian) Bargen of Superior, Nebraska, Steve (Karen) Oakman of Deshler, Nebraska, Steve Roesti of Superior, Nebraska, grandparents, John and Doris Stark of Hastings, Nebraska, Phyllis Lovegrove of York, Nebraska, Larry and Gayle Oakman of Hill City, Kansas, Doug and Lou Hiatt of Superior, Nebraska, Jerry and Latica Bargen of Nelson, Nebraska, great-grandparents, Don and Sheila Korb of Superior, Nebraska. He is also survived by special friends Cindy (Avery) Rollenhagen and Mike Asp along with a host of other friends and relatives.
Graveside memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 7th, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior, Nebraska.
Memorials may go to the Simic Skating Rink or in c/o the family for other designations to be decided later.
For the services masks are recommended due to current Covid rules and you are more than welcome to bring your own chair if you would like.
