Christian Biography of Cohen A. Edgar

Cohen Alan Edgar, the son of Bradley and Deonna (Sole) Edgar, was born on August 7, 1997 in Kearney, Nebraska. He passed away on December 26, 2024 at his residence in Grand Island, Nebraska at the age of 27 years, 4 months, 19 days.

Cohen grew up in Hastings attending grade school there and his Junior and Senior high at Lawrence/Nelson, graduating with the class of 2016. He loved being outdoors which included camping, fishing and country drives in Grandpa Al's pickup. Cohen was a Lego Aficionado. He had an inquisitive mind and a genius for knowing how things worked, taking them apart just to put them back together. Loved to cook and discovered that love while cooking at D & D's Lyon's Den in Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Robert Edgar and Allen Sole.

He is survived by his parents Bradley and Deonna, sister Dairien Edgar (Tyler Holland) of Fremont, grandmothers Margaret Edgar and Karen Sole; fiancé Anna Ackerman of Grand Island; nephews Oliver and Sam and nieces Sarah and Serenity; other relatives and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life Open House will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Elk Creek Country Club in Nelson, Nebraska.

Private family inurnment in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Oak, Nebraska.
