Christian Biography of Connie Ann (Loop) Swihart
Connie Ann Swihart, the daughter of Guy and Alice (Clark) Loop, was born on September 10, 1944 in Superior, Nebraska. She passed away on August 2, 2012 at BryanLGH Medical Center East in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 67 years, 10 months, 23 days.
Connie graduated from Hardy High School, Hardy, Nebraska. On August 18, 1968 she was united in marriage to Lloyd Dee Swihart at the United Methodist Church in Hardy.
Connie was a member of the Superior United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was a member of the Red Hats, the Needle Huddle Group, Mothers Club, the Capital Sams Camping Club, was a Dietician at the Hospital and Superior Good Samaritan Center, cooked at the Kurly Kone and the Hilltop Café and was a nurses aid for a time. She enjoyed spending time on the computer and especially all her animals. She loved her children and grandchildren.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Norman and Jim and one brother-in-law, Daryl Allington.
She is survived by her husband Lloyd Dee Swihart of Superior, daughter Melodee Swihart of Columbus, Nebraska, son, Clark Swihart of Columbus, Nebraska, step-sons, Randy Swihart and wife Wendy and Greg Swihart and wife Debbie of Florida. Five grandchildren, Joshua Ryba, Kiel Brunken, Matthew Brunken, Noah Brunken and Kayley Swihart. She is also survived by her sister, Joline Allington of Superior, Nebraska and sister-in-law Lorene Loop of Hutchinson, Kansas along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
