Christian Biography of Cynthia Lou Fullerton
Cynthia Lou Fullerton, the daughter of Elmer LeRoy and Joyce (Oliver), was born on March 17, 1964, in Superior, Nebraska. She passed away on September 23, 2013 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 49 years.
She attended Superior Public Schools graduating in 1982. Following graduation she attended Grand Island Tour and Travel Program. During this time she decided to pursue a career in Nursing and attended Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas, where she received her RN degree. She then worked as a nurse in Superior, Grand Island, and Lincoln, Nebraska.
On October 1, 1983, a son, Joshua Lee Fullerton was born. He also attended school in Superior, Nebraska. Cindy and Josh then moved to Lincoln in 1995 where
she has continued to reside. She began working as an RN at Bryan Memorial Hospital where she worked for thirteen years. She then went to Allied Insurance and worked as
a nurse analyst there. For the past five years she has been working at NRECA as a nurse handling claims and other health related matters.
On June 7, 2008 Josh married Emily Peterson and they gave Cindy a granddaughter who has been the delight of her life. Stella Lucille Fullerton was born on March 14, 2012.
Cindy had many interests and hobbies some of which were traveling, spending time with family and friends, crocheting, knitting and spending all the time she could with her dogs and Stella.
Cindy was baptized with her son Josh January of 2008 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Herington, KS.
Cindy will be dearly missed and we all have wonderful memories of which we all
will cherish.
Survivors include her parents, Roy and Joyce Fullerton of Superior, Nebraska; her son, Josh and wife Emily and granddaughter Stella of Lincoln, Nebraska; brother Bruce Fullerton, wife, Linda, their son Jared and family, and daughter Becky and family all of Superior, Nebraska; and sister Rita (Fullerton) Higer and daughters Tristyn and
family and Crisha and family all of Springfield, Missouri, and her 2 dogs Tasha and Bentley as well as a host of relatives, coworkers, and friends.
Memorial Services will held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home, Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Lance Ferguson officiating.
