Christian Biography of Dale A. Eisenhauer

Dale Allen Eisenhauer, the son of Paul and Vera (McCrady) Eisenhauer, was born on January 2, 1939 near Solomon, Kansas. He passed away on August 31, 2013 at his home near Webber, Kansas at the age of 74 years, 7 months, 29 days.

Dale was raised on a farm and attended school and graduated from Naponee, Nebraska where he continues to hold records in Football, Track and Basketball and he also attended Hastings College at Hastings, Nebraska where he also played Bronco football. He was a member of the Methodist
Church.

On May 15, 1960 he was united in marriage to Lynda Marlene Cleveland in Superior, Nebraska and to this union was born two children, Kolene and Terry. Together they moved to Rooks County, where their two children were born and lived in the Stockton area for 32 years. He owned Eisenhauer Insurance Services, farmed and raised Simmental Cattle and Quarter Horses. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. There he was a charter member of the Saddle Dusters Saddle Club, a charter member of the Rooks Co Country Club, member of the Stockton Methodist Church and served and helped promote numerous church and community activities including the Boy Scouts, 4-H, the Rooks County Free Fair and Coached Pee Wee Football.

In 1992 they moved to the Lovewell Lake area where he established a wildlife refuge and have resided there ever since. He owned Eisenhauer Insurance Services for 50 years, owned and operated the Ike's Marina at the Lovewell State Park and retiring from that opened the Ike's Mini Mart and Spirits close to his home. He was a true supporter of Lovewell Wildlife and Parks, an avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and golf.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Carol Smith.

He is survived by his wife Lynda Marlene Eisenhauer of Webber, Kansas, daughter Kolene Topf and husband Tony of Desoto, Kansas and son Dr. Terry Eisenhauer and wife Mona of Salina, Kansas. Seven grandchildren, T.J. Topf, Grace Eisenhauer, Angela Topf, Sophie Eisenhauer, Jake Eisenhauer, Decker Gates and Riley Gates. He is also survived by a brother Paul Eisenhauer and wife Joyce of Omaha, Nebraska and a sister Donna Eisenhauer of Holdrege, Nebraska along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Family Graveside Services were held.

Memorials are suggested to go to the Solomon Valley Hospice or the White Rock Scandinavian Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery fund.
