Christian Biography of Darlene C. Hale

Darlene C. Hale, the daughter of Clifford R. and Faylisha (Hudson) Amack, was born on March 28, 1930 in Bostwick, Nebraska. She passed away on February 24, 2024 at the Superior Good Samaritan Society at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 93 years, 10 months, 27 days.

At an early age Darlene moved to Superior with her family. She attended school in Superior and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She took piano lessons as a child and became a talented piano player. She was pianist for the Baptist Church for many years.

At the age of 15 she met and fell in love with Leslie Hale from Hardy, Nebraska. She wanted to get married but her parents would not let her marry until she was 16, so on her 16th birthday she married Les and they had four children. They were married 69 wonderful years before Les passed away.

She took porcelain classes and made many dolls which are now with her children and grandchildren.

Darlene had the talent of using her hands. She loved to knit, crochet, and cross stitch. She loved going to stitch and chat every Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church where she was a member of long standing. She would meet with friends and work on various projects.

Darlene moved to the Victorian Legacy in September of 2023. On February 8th of 2024 she moved into the Good Samaritan Society in Superior, Nebraska because of declining health. She is survived by her children Robert and wife Linda Hale, Claudia and husband Dick Hanson, Barbara Hale, Craig and wife Terri Hale, nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
