The following is a courtesy notice for the Smith family:

Darlene Elaine Smith, 74, Lincoln, passed away May 18, 2015. Born September 2, 1940 to Albia and Madeline (Breault) Comeau in Glasco, KS.

Darlene was a member of the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International and Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. She enjoyed reading and studying various massage modalities including Lymph Drainage, Visceral work, and Ortho-Bionomy; Darlene was an Advanced Instructor in Ortho-Bionomy work and taught classes nationwide. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dining out, and going to movies. Darlene was revered by all and left a legacy that won't soon be forgotten.

Survivors include her children, Delaine (Ron) Birchard, Lincoln, Delmar Smith, Lincoln, D.D. (Brad) Peterson, Courtland, KS, Dennis (Lisa) Smith, Lincoln, Darren Smith, Houston, TX; 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren

Memorial service: 10 am, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 5200 R Street, Lincoln.

Graveside service : 11 am, Friday, May 22, 2015 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Courtland, KS.
