Christian Biography of David Dwayne DeLorto

David Dwayne DeLorto, the son of Ronald and Margret (Humphres) DeLorto, was born on November 4, 1967 in Bellflower, California. He passed away on June 12, 2014 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center at Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 46 years, 7 months, 8 days.

David met his loving wife, Shelly Bogart on July 4, 2006 and married shortly after on September 14, 2008 in Mississippi. He lived for his love of being a pipeliner and working for the Union, side by side with his loving wife and brother "Ronnie" David had a passion for motorcycles and fishing and adored his dog "Sassy". He had a huge heart and loved people; he loved to always lend a helping hand and "dollar" whenever needed. David had a very toxic personality and could make you laugh and cry all at the same time. If he couldn't make you cry he could surly make you laugh till you did. He touched so many lives in so many ways; if you ever met him you would never forget him.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and brother, Robert.

He is survived by his wife Shelly, her three children, Kyle, Kelly and Kami, and his two daughters, Dayna and Krystal; three brothers, Ronald, Paul and Ronnie, and sisters Chantel Laughtner, Christina Laughtner, Georgia Atkins, Rhonda (DeLorto)Vaux and Chasity DeLorto. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews as well as numerous precious grandbabies.

David will be missed and loved surely. Gone but never forgotten.


Memorial services will be held on Saturday July 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Hardy Fire Hall, Hardy, Nebraska.

Memorials are suggested to go to the family in care of Kelly Cullum 501 W. Sumner, Western, Nebraska to help cover expenses.
