David L. Wilton 65 of Grand Island, died Thursday, February 15, 2024.
Services will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, February 21st at Trinity Lutheran Church. Reverend Adam Snoberger will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Tuesday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to either Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran School or Heartland Lutheran High School.

David was born on October 30, 1958 in Superior, NE the son of Ralph and Esther (Wortman) Wilton. He grew up on a farm near Superior attending Beaverville Country School. He graduated from Superior High School class of 1977.

David was baptized and confirmed at Centennial Lutheran Church in Superior. He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Grand Island serving as an usher/greeter. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, hiking in the mountains and traveling across the country. He loved time spent with family especially his great nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his brothers, Richard (Donna) Wilton of Hastings and Larry Wilton of Grand Island, 3 nieces, 2 nephews, great nieces and nephews; two aunts, Delores Fullerton and Evelyn Wortman and other family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Duane and Alan Wilton and an infant sister.
