Christian Biography of Debra A. Jetensky

Debra Acena Jetensky, the daughter of William and Katherine (Larkins) Dixon, was born on February 5, 1959 in Superior, Nebraska. She passed away on January 25, 2019 at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 59 years, 11 months, 20 days.

Deb was baptized at the Baptist Church in Superior. She graduated from Superior High School with the class of 1977. In April of 1995 she was united in marriage to Curtis Schiermeyer at Nelson, Nebraska.

Deb was a member of the Elks, was Elk of the Year and former officer. She was also a member of the Eagles Club. Most of her life she cooked at various places in Superior including Gary's Café, the Harvest Inn, D.C.'s North Forty and the Superior Elks Lodge. She loved helping Curtis on the farm with chores, mowing and taking care of her cats. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Katherine and her father-in-law, Robert Schiermeyer.

She is survived by her husband Curtis of Nelson, Nebraska, daughter Amy McGee of Hastings, Nebraska and son Tony Jetensky of Nelson, Nebraska. Four grandchildren, Makenna, Aiden, Trevin and Riley. She is also survived by her siblings, Diana Kranau and husband Victor of Superior, Nebraska, Linda Eggers and husband Mark of Ruskin, Nebraska, Bill Dixon of Hildreth, Nebraska, Mary Utter and husband Neal of Superior, Nebraska and Barb Woerner and husband Duane of Superior, Nebraska, mother-in-law Sharon Schiemeyer along with many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
