Dedra Raine Russell, the daughter of Harlan and Marthena (Konkel) DeGarmo Jr., was born on April 5, 1966 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She passed away on September 2, 2023 at her mother's home in Elmwood, Nebraska the age of 57 years, 4 months, 28 days.

Dedra attended schools in Dixon, California, and Elmwood, Nebraska and was an Elmwood High School graduate and attended Peru State College for 1 year. She was united in marriage to Eric Arden Russell on June 21, 1986 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Elmwood, Nebraska. With this union she brought one son Jeremy and two daughters were born to this union Sadie and Jenny.

Dedra enjoyed needle point, jewelry making, scrapbooking and baking cakes. She was a member of Harvest Christian Church. During her lifetime, Dedra lived in Las Cruses, NM; Thedford, NE; Broken Bow, NE; Los Molinos, CA; Dixon, CA; Elmwood, NE; Waverly, NE and Superior, NE. She worked in banking for over 26 years and was employed as a childcare giver.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harlan; brother Kevin DeGarmo, father-in-law Eugene Russell and brother-in-law Robert Russell.

Survivors include her mother Marthena of Elmwood; husband Eric of Superior; children Jeremy DeGarmo of Red Oak, IA; Sadie Russell of Lincoln, NE; and Jennifer Russell of Hebron, NE; grandchildren Robert DeGarmo and Kylah Killian; siblings Brian (Rachelle) DeGarmo and Eric (Liz) DeGarmo; mother-in-law Elizabeth Russell of Tacoma, WA and brother-in-law Owen Russell and sister-in-law Alison Russell; 2 nephews, Alex and Benjamin DeGarmo; other relatives and a host of friends.
