Christian Biography of Diane Way

Virginia "Diane" Marie Clyde Fullerton Way, the daughter of William Ellis Clyde and Ada Martha (Seeba) Clyde was born November 4, 1943 at St Mary's Hospital in North Platte, NE.  She departed this life December 25, 2024 at Good Samaritan Village in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 81 years, 1 month and 21 days.

She attended grade school in Bostwick, NE and graduated with the class of 1962 from Guide Rock High School in Guide Rock, NE.  After working at the state Capitol in Lincoln, NE for many years, she returned to Superior and was employed by the city of Superior until her retirement.

Diane was a member of Centennial Lutheran Church in Superior.

Diane enjoyed visiting with family and friends, playing cards, watching ball games, and camping at Lovewell Lake.  She was a member of the Red Hats club.  For many years Dennis and Diane traveled to Texas, camping for the winter, forging many friendships near and far.

Diane was united in marriage to Laverne Fullerton on April 24, 1984 until Laverne's passing on March 8, 1994.  Diane married Dennis Way on August 23, 1996.  Dennis passed away June 24, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Ada, her brother Dallas Clyde, brother and sister-in-law Daryl and Carol Clyde, her husband's Laverne and Dennis, step grandchildren Haley Shroyer Bohlen and Adam Fullerton, nephew Mike Clyde and niece Rhonda Clyde.

Diane is survived by her brother Dale (Margaret) Clyde of San Antonio, TX, step son Ron (Krista) Fullerton of Lincoln, NE, step daughters Verna (Rob) Kraus of Kiowa, CO, Tammy (Marty) Jeffery of Northbranch KS, Shelia (Jim) Jaeb and Stacey (Dennis) Shroyer of Superior, and Shelley Grabast of Brownwood, TX, nephews Frank (Sheryl) Clyde and Steve (Lori) Clyde of Superior, Damon Clyde (Tuomas)  of New York, NY, niece Lisa Clyde & fiancé (Tim) of San Antonio, TX as well as step grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial service is scheduled for January 14, 2025 at 10:30 am at the Centennial Lutheran Church, Superior, Nebraska
