Christian Biography of Ella Marie Tordrup Madison

Ella Marie Madison, the daughter of Chris and Dagmar (Feldt) Tordrup, was born on January 29, 1923 in rural Hardy, Nebraska; the fifth of seven children. She passed away on December 19, 2015 at the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center at Portland, Oregon at the age of 92 years, 10 months, 20 days.

She graduated from Superior High School in 1940. In 1947 she married Richard Madison in the Lutheran Church in Superior. 3 children blessed this marriage.

She was a homemaker and also spent over 25 years volunteering at the Oregon Health.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Andrew, Carl, August and Gilbert, one sister Ina Fairless, and her husband Richard in 2008.

Survivors are her children Lewis of Bremerton, Washington, Lynette of Sherwood, Oregon and James of Atchison, Kansas; a sister Margaret Hanson of Sheridan, Wyoming; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
