Christian Biography of Everette Ziegler

Everette L. Ziegler, Jr., the son of Everette L. Sr., and Marilyn (Hamilton) Ziegler, was born on April 17, 1955 in Dekalb, Illinois. He passed away on June 18, 2026 due to an accident near Chester, Nebraska at the age of 71 years, 2 months, 1 day.

Everette attended school at Waterman, Illinois earning his GED. He served his country in the United States Army for 13 years. On September 21, 1991 he was united in marriage to Darlene Matthews in Superior.

During his lifetime, Everette lived in many communities including, Waterman, Il, Lincoln, Nelson, Waco, Tx, and Superior. He was a dedicated truck driver traveling the roads for over 40 years.

He enjoyed his horses, shooting guns and spending time with family especially the grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his father Everette, his son Douglas, and his brother Marvin.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene of Superior, son Derrick, his mother Marilyn Jo Ziegler; 8 grandchildren Diana, Walter, Rees, Jaci, Katlyn, Logan, Hannah and Aliya; and 2 great grandchildren; stepchildren Clint (Sara) Bunting, Michelle (Jeff) Brooks, Jared (Sarah) Bunting, and Jodi (John) Bunting-Glaser; siblings Joyce (Dan) Berres, Tina (Rick) Wehrman and Danny (Jori) Ziegler; other relatives and a host of friends.
