Christian Biography of F. Dean Hall

Frankie Dean Hall, the son of Ray and Muriel (Lowe) Hall, was born on December 26, 1931 in Superior, Nebraska. He passed away on October 4, 2016 at his residence in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 84 years, 9 months, 8 days.

Dean attended school in Hardy graduating from Hardy High School. A veteran of the Korean War, Dean enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on January 26, 1951 serving his country and was honorably discharged on January 25, 1954. While in the service Dean was united in marriage to S. Maxine Montgomery on November 8, 1952 at San Pedro, California. This union was blessed with one son and three daughters.

Dean was a 19 year member of the Superior Church of Christ, being baptized by Pastor Jim Stark on November 2, 2008. He was employed at Ideal Cement retiring after 36 years. Dean was a 20 year member of the Superior Volunteer Fire Department serving as Secretary for 5 of those years.

In his leisure time, Dean enjoyed fishing, camping, and attending local auctions. Spending time with family and friends was very important to Dean.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Maxine on December 31, 2015; his brother Raymond and sister Glenna Bridwell.

He will be dearly missed by his family, son Edmon Hall and wife Paula of Adams, Nebraska; Debra Harris of Malawi, Africa; Jacqueline Albertson and husband Rick of Republic, Kansas; and Sandra Nelson and husband Kendall of Formoso, Kansas; six grandchildren: Maranda Bradfield, Laura Harris, Joshua Hall, Tisha Johnston and husband Perry, Jared Nelson and wife Tricia, Jason Nelson and fiancé Haley; 2 great-grandchildren: Paden Johnston and Isaac Nelson; brother Melvin Hall of Prineville, Oregon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors was held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10:30 AM from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Jim Stark officiating.

Music was recordings of "Swing Low Sweet Chariot," "Go Rest High on the Mountain," and the "Marine Hymn (Halls of Montezuma)."

Pallbearers were Maranda Bradfield, Tisha Johnston, Laura Harris, Jason Nelson, Jared Nelson, and Joshua Hall.

Private family inurnment held the Rosemound Cemetery at Hardy, Nebraska.

Memorials directed to the family for later designation.
