Christian Biography of Frona K. Wall

Frona Kay Wall, the daughter of Glenn and Frieda (Harkins) Langer, was born on April 2, 1938 in Jewell County, Kansas. She passed away on January 19, 2019 at the Superior Good Samaritan Society at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 80 years, 9 months, 17 days.

Frona was the third of six children. She was a Superior High School graduate. In 1958 Frona married Richard "Dick" Wall, and to this union two sons were born. Jeffrey David Wall in 1960 and Randall Lee Wall in 1962.

Frona helped take care of her aging parents, worked for Dr. Wrench, was a nanny, bank teller, helped teachers in Torrington. She enjoyed sewing and painting and was very artistic. Throughout her lifetime, Frona lived in Torrington, Wyoming for 10 years, Russell, Kansas for 20 years, Hastings for 5 years before moving to Superior.

Frona was very special to her children and grandchildren. She had a special friendship with all her siblings, as well as with her nieces, nephews, and extended family. She helped her children in all ways, with all things. She was always encouraging them, especially with their outdoor interests. She loved nature, and keeping up with what the kids were doing, including riding during roundup; checking cattle with them, or visiting with their friends when they were there. She loved her cat, was great at taking lots of pictures and loved being creative with various craft projects.

Frona was beautiful inside and out. She loved the outdoors, planting flowers and enjoying the beauty of them. She was a very active member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority of Russell, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Joe.

Frona is survived by both sons, Jeff and Karen Wall of Grant, Nebraska; Randy and Michell Wall of Russell, Kansas; grandchildren: Ryan Winter and family, Angie Rock and family, Jacob (Tiffany) Wall and family, and Joshua Wall; great grandchildren: Haylee, Raegan, Kenlee, Logan, Alec, Jase and Rylee; sisters DeVee Smalley of Superior, Nebraska; Crystal Marker of Tecumseh, Nebraska; Judy (Alvin) Schott of Nelson, Nebraska; and one brother Stephen (Janice) of Upton, Wyoming; along with other family and friends.
