Christian Biography of Carroll Gene Alexander

Carroll Gene Alexander, the son of Carroll and Harriet Bernice (Willett) Alexander, was born on July 31, 1942 in Nelson, Nebraska. He passed away on July 24, 2020 at his residence in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 77 years, 11 months, 24 days.

Gene attended school in Superior and was a Superior High School graduate. He received in Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He was employed as a USDA meat inspector.

He served in the Kansas National Guard from January of 1964 to December of 1969. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Mary Lewis on July 17, 1998 in Tucson, Arizona. He was a member of the Superior Pleasure Cruisers, enjoyed hunting, fishing and street rods.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Barry.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy; daughters Denise (Les) Brown of Phoenix, Arizona; Candi (Michael) Keegan of Peoria, Arizona; and Dusty Bartee of Surprise, Arizona; 5 grandchildren; and brothers Edward (Mary) Alexander of Omaha, Nebraska; and Don Alexander of Mankato, Kansas; other relatives and a host of friends.

Per Gene's wishes he was cremated and no services are planned.

Memorials may go to the Superior Volunteer Fire Department or the American Brain Tumor Association.
