Christian Biography of George "Bud" Albert Dondlinger

George "Bud" Albert Dondlinger was born to Leonard and Susie Maye (Hayes) Dondlinger, May 20, 1927 in Hebron, Nebraska. He passed away April 12, 2016 at Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, Washington at the age of 88 years.

George attended country school in Brule, Nebraska. He married Birdette A. Oldham on August 10, 1947 in Belleville, Kansas. This union was blessed with five children. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II and the Korean War.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #121 and American Legion #103 both of Superior, Nebraska. He has previously lived in Superior, Nebraska, Spanaway and Tacoma, Washington, Germany, Philippines, the states of Alaska, Georgia, and Texas.

George was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Birdette, August 2, 2006 and his brother Floyd Edwin Manning, 1974.

Survivors include sons, Don and wife Cheryl of Tacoma, Washington; David and Pat of Superior, Nebraska and Dennis and wife Wendy of Spanaway, Washington; and two daughters, Debra Ryan of Tacoma, Washington and Dana Carter and husband Jim of Superior, Nebraska; eight grandchildren: Patrick, Chris, April, Lisa, Gail, Cameron, Emily and Kenny Jr.; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside Memorial services were held on Wednesday May 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the Evergreen Cemetery in Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Deanna Disney officiating.

Recorded Music "When I Get Where I'm Going" was played.

Honorary Pallbearers were his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Inurnment with Full Military Honors was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior, Nebraska.
