Christian Biography of Ginger Kay (Snell) White
Ginger Kay White, the daughter of Daryl and Leota (Darling) Snell Heiden, was born on January 11, 1960 in Plainville, Kansas. She passed away on November 14, 2019 at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 59 years, 10 months, 3 days.
Ginger was one of 6 children, she grew up in Superior and was a Superior High School graduate. She was united in marriage to Clifford White on November 16, 1979 at Nelson. This union was blessed with 2 children. During her lifetime, Ginger lived in Stockton, Kansas; Valentine, McCook and Superior, Nebraska.
Ginger was a homemaker, Wife, Mom and Grandma and loved spending time with her family, always laughing and smiling, and being the best Grandma to Sorin. She enjoyed baking and cooking with family and watching the Huskers, NFL football and baseball. She worked in the dietary department at Superior Public Schools and volunteered at the Food Pantry and the Superior Good Samaritan Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents Daryl and Leota.
Survivors include her husband Cliff of Superior; her daughter Tracy (Shawn) Cotter of Bellevue, Nebraska; and son Nick White of Wichita, Kansas; her grandson Sorin Cotter; siblings Terri (Merle) Cradick of York; Lonie (Peggy) Snell of Valentine; Tom Snell of Superior; Brenda Hoskins of Superior; Megan (Herbert) Ackerman of Thayer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 10:30 am from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Natalie Faust officiating.
Music was recording of "I'll Fly Away," prelude and postlude was Ginger's favorites.
Visitation was held on Sunday from 4 to 8 with family present from 4-6 to greet friends.
Pallbearers were Daryl Hale, Melvin Hale, Michael Hoskins, Josh Shadduck, Quinn Pracheil and Vincent Urbaniak. Honorary Pallbearers were Ginger's nieces and nephews, Carl and Terri Suchsland, Lori and Steve Clyde, John and Sheryl Druba and Dennis and Carla Gebers.
Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, Nebraska.
