Christian Biography of Haley Nicole Bohlen

Haley Nicole (Shroyer) Bohlen, the daughter of Dennis and Stacey (Way) Shroyer, was born on December 29, 1987 in Superior, Nebraska. She passed away on October 7, 2019 due to a car accident near Fairfield, Nebraska at the age of 31 years, 9 months, 8 days.

Haley was baptized on April 24, 1988 by Rev. Steven Tjarks and confirmed on October 27, 2002 by Rev. Dan Hayes at Salem Lutheran Church. She was a Superior High School graduate with the class of 2006 and she received her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Central Community College. She was united in marriage to Cody Bohlen on August 6, 2011 in Deweese, Nebraska; this union was blessed with three daughters, Bayleigh, Breckyn and Beckett.

Haley's greatest role in life was being a Mother. She enjoyed taking care of her three girls and helping with their activities. Her other passions were riding horses, ranching, camping, and coaching basketball. She also was the director of JB's Corner Daycare in Fairfield, Nebraska and active with the Nuckolls County Fairboard, school activities and 4-H.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Donald and Gladys Shroyer; great grandparents Milo Way, Mable Grove and Leona Warren; and her Aunt Cheryl (Shroyer) Rothchild.

She is survived by her parents, Dennis and Stacey of Superior, Nebraska; husband Cody of Fairfield, Nebraska; daughters Bayleigh Grace, Breckyn Paige and Beckett Layn all of Fairfield; her brother Jared and wife Hannah of Superior, Nebraska; grandparents Dennis (Diane) Way and Sharon (Lathan) Russell also of Superior, Nebraska; in-laws, Ron and Jenise Bohlen of Fairfield; sisters-in-law Jessie Anderson and husband Brandon of Clay Center; Kellie Bohlen of Hastings, Nebraska; grandparents-in-law Norbert and Linda Fleck and Joyce Bohlen all of Hastings; plus nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Salem Lutheran Church, rural Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Ethan Feistner officiating.

Music was congregational hymns "I Was There To Here Your Borning Cry," and "On Eagle's Wings," and "Dancing In The Sky," sung by Maddi Peterson with Sonia Schmidt as the accompanist.

Pallbearers were Blake Troester, Drew Kohmetscher, John Mertens, Dillon Menke, Boone Svoboda and Darren Ostdiek. Honorary Pallbearers Kayla Anderson, Emily Hegemann, Chelsea Hamilton, Julie Steinhauer, Jaysa Hoins, Kelly Baker, Lyle Meyer, and Arnie Svoboda.

Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, Nebraska.
