Christian Biography of Harold Bender

Harold Leroy Bender, the son of Ralph and Erma (Snyder) Bender, was born on May 1, 1931 in Lima, Ohio. He passed away on February 15, 2013 at Brodstone Memorial Hospital at the age of 81 years, 9 months, 14 days.

Harold graduated from high school in Lima, Ohio. He married Verna Bell Crutis on August 13, 1962 and to this union three children were born. Harold was a self-employed carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his wife.

He is survived by his partner and friend of 20 years Suzanne Schneider of Superior, Nebraska; daughters Theresa Szegfue and Rose Little and son John Bender of Las Vegas, Nevada; five grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.


Memorial services will be held at a later date in Batesville, Arkansas

Inurnment will be in Batesville, Arkansas.
