Christian Biography of Harold Lee Ruttman

Harold Lee Ruttman, the son of Harold E. and Lois (Clabaugh) Ruttman, was born on July 2, 1944 in Superior, Nebraska. He passed away on May 13, 2025 at Brodstone Healthcare at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 80 years, 10 months, 11 days.

Growing up on the farm, Harold attended country school then Nelson High School, traveling to Europe with the FFA members and graduated from Nelson High School in 1962. He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Nelson.

On October 20, 1963, he was united in marriage to Patricia Anne Buresh in Oak, Nebraska and to this union two children were born.

Harold and Patty raised their family north of Nelson on the farm. He will be truly missed by his family, the many friends he made in the community, his feed customers, his C-store clan and many, many more.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Lois.

Survivors include his wife Patricia of the home, his son Brent (Brandon Erikson) of Omaha, and his daughter Stacy (James) Bauer of Nelson; grandchildren Alex and Brenton Bauer; other relatives and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life service for Harold Ruttman will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Nelson Auditorium in Nelson, Nebraska with Royce Schott officiating.
