Christian Biography of Helen Miller

Helen Beatrice Miller, the daughter of William and Josephine (Lawson) Howard, was born on July 21, 1930 in Superior, Nebraska. She passed away on July 17, 2019 at the Superior Good Samaritan Society at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 88 years, 11 months, 26 days.

Helen was one of 4 children who grew up in Superior. She attended school in Superior through the 9 th grade. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. On December 29, 1956 she was united in marriage to Wilfred Miller at Superior. This union was blessed with seven children.

The majority of her life Helen was a homemaker, caring for her family. She also was the Baker at the Superior High School, worked at the Kurly Kone, was an Avon representative for many years and babysat many children in the Superior area.

She resided at Parkview Haven in Deshler until recently moving to the Superior Good Samaritan Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Joe, brother Alvin, sister Mae and grandsons Jeffrey Miller and Joby Hanson.

Survivors include her husband Willie; children Susan Miller, Ivan (Nancy) Miller, Peg (Doug) Grabast, Polly (Greg) Drohman, Nancy (Craig) Hollister and Mike (Kristin) Miller, daughter-in-law Janet Miller, one brother Ivan (Linda) Howard; 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.

Mass of Christian Burial Held at: St. Joseph Catholic Church, Superior, Nebraska

Time of Service: Monday, July 22, 2019 at 10:30 am

Burial: Evergreen Cemetery, Superior, Nebraska

Visitation: Starting at 2:00 pm Sunday at the church until the Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church
