Christian biography of Jeanette Gentert
Jeanette Gentert,age 61, of Minden, Nebraska was born February 12, 1952 to Harold and Roselie (Richey) Gentert in Hastings, Nebraska. She passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the Kearney County Health Care Center in Minden.
Growing up she lived in the Hastings and Harvard areas until moving to the Beatrice State Home at the age of 8. During her 20's she moved back to Hastings. Later she moved to Superior where she had her own apartment. After a fall she was a resident of the nursing home in Campbell and most recently in Minden.
She did contract work through Mid-Nebraska Individual Services putting together components. Jeanette enjoyed shopping and outdoor activities such as camping, boating, and fishing. She was always friendly and liked dogs. While in Superior, Jeanette attended Sunday school at the Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dean Haskin and Charles Haskin; and sister, Roseanna Pritts.
Jeanette is survived by brother, Don and Michelle Gentert of Hastings, NE; sisters, Judy and Karl Ditzenberger of Jacksonville, FL, and Sharon Conklin of Hastings, NE; many nephews and nieces; aunts, Joyce Onken of Glenvil, NE, and Paula Richey of Falls City, NE; cousins and guardians, Nancy Gray of Campbell, NE, and Kathy Wiseman of Kearney, NE
Private family graveside inurnment will be held for Jeanette in the Rulo Cemetery, Rulo, Nebraska
