She attended school at Kearney and Superior. She married Willie Kussman on July 7, 2006 at Hardy Hall in Hardy, Nebraska; five children were born to this union.

Jeneffer loved to run when she was younger and her kids were her love.

She was preceded in death by her father Ray Green and her mother Denice "Imler" Gruber; grandparents Ernie and Diane Imler and great grandmother Marcile Imler.

Survivors include her husband Willie of Republic, Kansas; her dad Ronald Gruber and his wife Kim of Omaha, Nebraska; children Mashaylla Peterson of Hasting, Nebraska; Jasalynn Imler of Republic, Kansas; Feliccia Overy of Hastings, Nebraska; Whitney Gruszka of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Cory Gruszka of Miltonville, Kansas; 2 grandchildren Isa & Marley; her brother James Gruber and wife Steph of Lexington, Nebraska; and half-siblings Georgia Karel of Cozad, Nebraska; Mike Green of Ogallala, Nebraska; Timothy Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia; and Donna Brown of Augusta, Georgia; other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior, Nebraska with Matt Ehlers officiating.

Recorded Music "The Lost Boy" was played.

Pallbearers were Carll Imler, Matt Imler, Cecil Imler, Ryan Robbins, Jeremy Kussman and Chris Bridwell. Honorary Pallbearers were Myron Gray and Randy Gray.

Interment was in the White Rock Cemetery near Republic, Kansas.
