Christian Biography of Jerry Hasemeyer

Jerry Dean Hasemeyer the 4 ^th child of Louie Jr. and Ruth (Barry) Hasemeyer, was born on March 4, 1956 in Superior, Nebraska. He passed away on April 20, 2020 at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 64 years, 1 month, 16 days.

Jerry attended Pleasant Valley and Valley View country schools, Superior schools and was a graduate with the class of 1975. He spent his life time living in the Olive Hill and Webber, Kansas communities. At a young age he started working on the family farm and spent his life time being a farmer-rancher. In 1988 when his parents retired, Jerry starting farming with his brother, Gary and sisters, Sherry, Rosemarie and Rosemary and stated Hasemeyer 5 Ranch partnership.

Jerry dearly loved spending time with his nephews and nieces, taking them in the tractors, combine and horse back riding. He enjoyed attending rodeos, horse and livestock sales, eating out, watching western shows and listening to country music, and Herb country classic radio show. He loved his companion dog Wylie and his paint horse Reagan. Tye, Oakley and Lane always called Jerry "stinker." When Jerry was talking on his cell phone to Travis and Lacey he always asked them now the little fellows were doing.

He was preceded in death by his parents Louie, Jr and Ruth; grandparents Louie Sr. and Mary Hasemeyer and Roy and Minnie Barry.

Jerry is survived by his siblings JoAnn (John) Rogers of Superior; Janice Ward of Superior and friend Shon Augustin of Kenesaw; Gary, Sherry, Rosemary, Rosemarie Hasemeyer all of Superior; nephews Travis (McKenzie) Rogers of Hastings; Eric (Brandy) Rogers of Juniata; nieces Melissa Ward of Superior; Lacey (Clint) Holland of Lacygne, Kansas; Miranda Ward of Fairfield; great nephews and nieces Bentley, Easton and Hudson Rogers; Emilea, Tayte and Alexa Rogers; Tye, Oakley, and Lane Ward and Wyatt and Ben Holland; other relatives and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date
