Christian Biography of Ken Carter
Kenneth Eugene Carter, the son of Charles and (Norena) Grimm Carter, was born on November 15, 1956 in Superior, Nebraska. He passed away on March 21, 2023 at the Brodstone Healthcare at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 66 years, 4 months, 6 days.
Ken attended school in Superior graduating from Superior High School. He was married to Sandra Persinger on April 22, 1983 at Nelson, Nebraska. Three children were born to this union.
In 1987 he moved to Hastings for employment. He worked at Hastings Hide for 5 years before starting at Lochland Country Club as a janitor. In 2010 he moved to Omaha to provide day care for his 1 st grandson. Nine years later they moved to Hardy for his retirement years.
He loved spending time with his grandkids, mowing, gardening, fishing and going for drives, especially to the lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Sandra of Hardy; his children Tristan (Monysha) Carter, Brittany (Patrick) Horton and Kaitlyn Carter; 10 grandchildren: Tristan, II, Izik, Makenna, Kelby, Keiragin, Eric, Lucas, Larick, Azaylia and Liam; and his brothers James (Dana) Carter of Superior; Ronald (Ruth) Carter or Laurel, Maryland; and Greg (Laticia) Carter of Superior; other relatives and a host of friends.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 11:00 am from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior, Nebraska with Rev. Jon Albrecht officiating.
Music was "My Old Man," "Jealous Of The Angels," "Drowning," and "Like My Father."
Memorials are suggested to go to the family.
