Biography of Lana Black

Former Fairfield, Deweese, Edgar resident, now Superior Lana J. Black, was born September 29, 1950 in Hastings, Nebraska and passed away April 18, 2021 at the age of 70, at her home in Superior, Nebraska

Lana was born to Harold and Dorothy Shaw and graduated from the 1 ^st class of Sandy Creek in 1968. In 1970 she was united in marriage to Robert Black and to that union 2 children, Bobbi Jean Black and Ryan Black were born.

Lana spent most of her time enjoying her children and grandchildren, but in later years worked at Ken & Al's, Pinnacle bank and delivered meals on wheels.

To those who know Lana, knew how she loved to plant flowers and spend Sundays watching her favorite sport NASCAR.

She is preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Harold; mother and father-in-law Robert and Lavon Black and husband Robert.

Lana is survived by her children, Bobbi Jean Black, Ryan (Rosalie) Black, sister Linda Shaw, brother-in-law and wife Dan (Stephany) Black, one brother, and grandchildren, Jordan Black, Tyler Black, and Dawson Black, step grandson Jon Jackson and his 3 kids.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
