Christian Biography of Larry V. Nielsen

Larry Von Nielsen, the son of Jens and Yetieve (Gharring) Nielsen, was born on March 5, 1938 in Nelson, Nebraska. He passed away on April 30, 2014 at his home in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 76 years, 1 month, and 25 days.

Larry was one of four children. He graduated from Superior High School. He was inducted into the United States Navy in 1956 and was honorably discharged on June 3, 1962.

He was united in marriage to Bonnie Wilcox on June 11, 1966 in Georgia and to this union three children were born. Larry was employed as an over the road truck driver.

He is survived by his children Larry Von Nielsen, II and wife Lori of Houston, Texas; Anthony Eric Nielsen of Omaha, Nebraska and JoLe Robles and husband Jesse of Superior, Nebraska; nine grandchildren Patricia Breann, Larry III, Marisabell, Emily Grace, Anthony Eric, Jr., Lani, Samantha, Christopher and Zackary, 1 unborn great grandchild Brantlee Nielsen; sister Gloria Nobles of Superior and brother Douglas of Lincoln, Nebraska; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
