Larry Allen Nondorf, the son of Lawrence and Myrtle (Larson) Nondorf, was born on February 11, 1941, in Concordia, Kansas.  He passed away on May 22, 2026 at Brodstone Healthcare in Superior, Nebraska, at the age of 85 years, 3 months, and 11 days.

Butch, as he was known by many, attended school in Courtland, Kansas.  He married Virginia Lee Newell on January 25, 1963, in Nelson, Nebraska.  This union was blessed with three children.

Butch was employed for 32 years at Mid-America Dairy until its closure, then worked for 10+ years at Aurora Coop until his retirement.  His retirement years were spent doing woodworking, camping, daily drives, and spending time with family and friends.  He was a dedicated husband, dad, and grandfather to his family, all of whom he loved deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Virginia.  Survivors include his children Bonnie Johal of Shawnee, Kansas; Connie (Brook) Thelander of Eagle, Idaho; Scott (Jaletta) Nondorf of Superior; five grandchildren — Emily Thelander of Portland Oregon; Davis Thelander of Star, Idaho; Austin (Tierra) Nondorf of Superior; Catera (Jacob) Dietrich of Ellis, Kansas; Matraca Nondorf of Shawnee, Kansas; 1 great grandchild, Michael Dietrich, and 2 sisters, Genevieve Melby of Scandia, Kansas, and Eulah Johnson of Lincoln, Nebraska, as well as many other relatives and friends.
