Christian Biography of Lillian Wilson

Lillian Josephine Wilson, the daughter of Wilbur and Evelyn (Shaw) Wilson, was born on February 8, 1947 in Nelson, Nebraska. She passed away on February 15, 2013 at Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 66 years and 7 days.

Lillian attended and graduated from school in Nelson, Nebraska. She worked as a nurse's aid for 28 years. She was a member of the Superior Church of Christ where she was very active. She enjoyed puzzles and loved doing embroidery.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her brother Tom Wilson and wife Patty of Nelson, Nebraska. Nephews and nieces, Brian Wilson and wife Julie along with their children, Carissa, Serena and Garrick all of Gretna, Nebraska; Tonya Coon and husband Rod and their son Rodney of Herrington, Kansas; Sonya Wilson and her children, Carter, Kailei and Tatem all of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Lisa Butler and husband Ryan and their children, Riley, Faith and Colten all of Superior, Nebraska and along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm from the Superior Church of Christ in Superior, Ne with Dr. Jeff Collins officiating.

Music was congregational hymns "How Great Thou Art," and "The Old Rugged Cross," with Paul Renz as the organist.

Visitation was held on Sunday 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Pallbearers were Wendell Wilson, James Zoltenko, Lance Teachworth, Brian Wilson, Ryan Butler and Rod Coon and Honorary Pallbearers were Carter Davis, Tatem Davis, Colten Butler and Garrick Wilson.

Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery at Nelson, Nebraska.
