Christian Biography of Lomeata Higer

Elizabeth "Lomeata" Higer, was born December 14, 1929 in Clarkville, TN to Herman and RB (Eads) Suiter and passed away on January 29, 2024 at Jewell County Hospital Long Term Care in Mankato, KS at the age of 94.

On February 13, 1953, in Fairbury, NE, she was united in marriage to Gaylord Higer. This union was blessed with three children, Linda, Steve and Daniel.

She loved to play bingo and spending time with her family.

Lomeata is survived by daughter Linda (Rodney) Payne and son Daniel (Janet) Higer of Mankato, and Terry Thompson of McCook, grandchildren: Brent Beck, Mankato, KS; Kristene (Scott) Boyles of Superior, NE;  Amanda (Matt) Cudney of Spokane, WA; Nick Higer of Colorado Springs, CO; Tycen Higer and Mason Higer of Hays, KS; Bret (Arianne) Engel of Wamego, KS; Travis Novak of Lost Springs, KS; and Amy; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; brother Carl Suiter of Marietta, CA; and many nieces and nephew.

Lomeata was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gaylord, son Steve, sisters Mary and Sara.

Private family services held at Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, Nebraska.
