Christian Biography of Luanne Evelyn Piper
Luanne Evelyn Piper, the daughter of B. F. "Jack" and Anna (Grieshaber) Hill, was born on August 6, 1946 in Marysville, Kansas. She passed away on March 7, 2020 at the Select Specialty Hospital at Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 73 years, 7 months and 1 day.
Luanne attended school in Marysville, graduating from Marysville High School. She was united in marriage to George Piper on June 13, 1969 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This union was blessed with 4 children. They made their home in Hardy raising their family. She worked outside the home for Mid-Nebraska "MNIS," and she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband George, children, Ken Goodall and wife Susan of Hardy; Phillip Goodall and wife Nonda of Sutton; Michelle Boatman and husband Alan of Wamego, Kansas; and Rudie Piper and fiancé Ashley Foster of Laramie, Wyoming; 10 grandchildren: Savannah, Shiloh and Shaelynn Goodall; Andrew (Jenny) Wortman; Ahsha (Cole) Williams; Cameron, Colin, Chase and Conner Boatman and Zachary Piper; and 2 great grandchildren: Bently and Macie Wortman; and her siblings: Rudie Hill of Hastings; Jean Gray of Fairbury; Robin (Jim) Gallagher of Hudson, Ohio; Jaine (Kendall) Troxel of Fairbury; Paula (Michael) Douglas of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Lindee Hill of Fairbury; other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hardy Cemetery in Hardy, Nebraska with Pastor David Johnson officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers are Luanne's grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Inurnment in the Hardy Cemetery at Hardy, Nebraska.
Memorials are suggested to go to the Union Church in Hardy.
