Christian Biography of LuEtta Martha Braun
LuEtta Martha Braun, the daughter of Fred and Martha (Rippe) Hobelman, was born on April 28, 1928 on a farm near Hardy, Nebraska. She passed away on March 27, 2020 at the Kingswood Court in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 91 years, 10 months, 28 days.
LuEtta was one of eight children and went to Superior Schools and graduated from Hardy High Schools. She married Harold Braun on January 30, 1949 in Superior. This union was blessed with 2 daughters.
LuEtta was employed at Lincoln telephone & telegraph for many years retiring in 1988. She loved her kids and grandkids and spending time with them along with her husband Harold "Shorty." She was a member of Centennial Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Harold; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Survivors include her daughters Janet Diehl and husband Mark and Susan Trapp and husband Robert all of Superior; 4 grandchildren Joseph Trapp, Allysa Diehl, Andrew (Jessica) Diehl and Spencer (Maggie) Trapp; 3 great grandchildren Mika Trapp and Breya and Rylan Trapp; and her sister Florence (Joe) Calder of Lincoln; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
In compliance with the CDC guidelines a private family graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Robert Hopkins officiating.
Recording of "Amazing Grace" was played.
Visitation was held on Monday from 4-8 following the CDC guidelines of 10 people.
Pallbearers were her grandchildren Joseph Trapp, Allysa Diehl, Andrew Diehl and Spencer Trapp.
Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, Nebraska.
Memorials are suggested to go to Southern Nebraska Arts Council "Crest Theatre" or Centennial Lutheran Church.
