Christian Biography of Marcile (Brant) Imler

Marcile Ernestine Imler, the daughter of Perry and Cora (Heater) Brant was born September 21, 1923 at Superior, Nebraska.  Marcile passed away Saturday August 12, 2017 at the Belleville Health Care Center at the age of 93 years, 10 months and 22 days.

Marcile was united in marriage to Galen Imler on July 25, 1938 at Belleville, Kansas.  Galen preceded her in death on December 11, 1977.  She loved to be around her family and friends; enjoyed baking, cooking and sewing.  She enjoyed attending church functions.  She loved to go riding around looking for wildlife and reminisce about her life.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Sharlene (Imler) Taylor; Gary Imler; Mary (Imler) Gruszka; Teresa (Imler) Dyke and Kirk Imler; 29 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great grandchildren as well as a brother, Bob (Carol) Brant.

She was welcomed into heaven by her children, Ernie Imler; David Imler; Dennis Imler and Janet (Imler) Schnopp.

She left a lasting legacy and will be deeply missed by all of the loved ones, whose life touched.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 1:00 pm from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Rick Snodgrass officiating.

Music was "How Great Thou Art," "On the Wings of a Dove," "Sissy's Song" with Carlita Price as the organist, and Alicia Reed as the soloist.

Visitation was held on August 18, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Pallbearers were Matt Imler, Kirk Imler, Carl Imler, Max Henderson, Donald Whitley, and Cecil Imler.

Interment was in the White Rock Cemetery at Republic, Kansas.
