Margaret Ann
White-Breen
Jul 2, 1933 — Nov 1, 2023
Christian Biography of Margaret A. White-Breen
Margaret Ann Breen, the daughter of Robert and Margaret (Dunable) Selvage, was born on July 2, 1933 in Burr Oak, Kansas. She passed away on November 1, 2023 at the Brodstone Healthcare at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 90 years, 3 months, 30 days.
Margaret attended schools in Superior, graduating from Superior High School. She married Clifford White on April 5, 1952 in Superior. This union was blessed with six children. He preceded her in death on March 24, 1978. On October 13, 1984 she married Gail Breen. He preceded her in death on August 26, 2019.
Margaret was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church and attended on a regular basis, her faith was very important to her. After retiring from the Good Samaritan Home, she and Gail enjoyed traveling with her cousin and her husband to various places around the country. She always tried to make it to as many of her grandchildren's school events and sports games as possible. She loved planting flowers and always did a fantastic job of taking care of those. She absolutely loved her Nebraska Cornhuskers both football and Volleyball. She knew everything about the players and could reel off the stats on every single player. We knew better than to interrupt her when she was watching her sports and she rarely missed watching any games.
Most of all she enjoyed being around her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren, the more the merrier. They will always remember going to Grandma's house, the chance to be with all their cousins, Mom/grandma's house was the hub of every holiday get together, the glue that held our big crazy family together. She was always there for all of us, no matter what. She also enjoyed visits and phone calls from nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Margaret; husbands Clifford and Gail; daughter Phyllis Rothchild; sister Athol Rogers; brothers George Selvage, Ronald and Donald Selvage and an infant brother; daughter-in-law Ginger White and great granddaughter Jaymee Timko.
Survivors include her children Nancy (Michael) Pracheil of Omaha; Cliff (Cindy) White of Superior; David (Gina) White of Omaha; Carla (Carl) Waugh of Mankato, KS; Kelly (Steve) Shadduck of Holdrege and son-in-law Doyle Rothchild of Mankato; 13 grandchildren and one step grandson; 16 great grandchildren plus one on the way; 3 great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
