Christian Biography of Mark Jensen

Mark Leslie Jensen, the son of Leslie and Bonnie (Flower) Jensen, was born on August 26, 1959 in Superior, Nebraska. He passed away on February 9, 2018 at his residence at Nelson, Nebraska at the age of 58 years, 5 months, 14 days.

Mark attended school in Superior and was a graduate, by G.E.D. with the class of 1977.

He was employed by Butterfield Construction burying cable across northern Kansas. He also worked for a time as a meat cutter for Safeway in Scottsbluff, and Cheyenne, Wyoming and for Russ's IGA in Hastings, Nebraska. While living in Hastings, Mark also worked for FlowServe.

He was married to Nancy Strong in Mankato, Kansas and a daughter was born to them. They later divorced.

Mark was an artist; he loved drawing and painting and spent many hours making things such as Indian artifacts and model cars. He also loved music and playing his guitars. Mark was a huge Husker fan and a fan of NASCAR racing. He loved all types of animals.

He is survived by his parents Leslie and Bonnie of Nelson, Nebraska; 2 daughters, Hillary Adams and husband Chris of Augusta, Georgia; and Tressie McReynolds of Kensington, Kansas; step-daughter, Tina Doerr and husband Matt of Unadilla, Nebraska; seven grandchildren; sister LuAnn Fitzgerald and husband Jim of Glenvil, Nebraska; and other relatives and friends.
