Christian Biography of Mary (Disney) Sauvain
Mary Jane Sauvain, the daughter of Benjamin and Mary (Reeve) Disney, was born on February 29, 1956 in Bangor, Maine. She passed away on January 18, 2016 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 59 years, 10 months, 21 days.
Mary was one of seven children. She graduated from Superior High School and Brown Mackie College of Business.
Mary was united in marriage to William R. Sauvain on October 26, 1975 at Salina, Kansas and to this union a son was born.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ben and Mary; brother Dennis James Disney and sister Mary Margaret Disney; niece Marla Ostrander and nephews Ryan Stocker and Shon Disney.
She is survived by her husband William of Superior, Nebraska; son Chad and wife Tabitha of St. Peters, Missouri; and one grandson Brandon Miller; sisters Jeannie Sharp and husband Ronnie of Superior, Nebraska, Kathy Carpenter and husband Mark of Sabetha, Kansas and Pat Howe and husband Wayne of Olathe, Kansas and brother John Disney and wife Deanna of Superior, Nebraska; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 10:30 AM from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Daniel Benedict officiating.
Music was recording of "I Can Only Imagine," and solo's "I'll Fly Away," and "Amazing Grace," by Stephanie Thayer with Carlita Price as the accompanist.
Visitation was held on Friday from 3:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Pallbearers were Randy Sauvain, Rex Sauvain, Rick Sauvain, Mark Carpenter, Wayne Howe, Pat Howe, Kathy Carpenter and John Disney. Honorary Pallbearers were Chris Stocker, Chad Sporing, Jeannie Sharp, and Ron Sharp.
Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, Nebraska.
