Christian Biography of Michael S. Keifer

Michael Stuart Keifer, the son of Robert and Jean (Campbell) Keifer, was born on December 23, 1956 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He passed away on October 28, 2018 at the Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital at Hastings, Nebraska at the age of 61 years, 10 months, 5 days.

He attended grade school in Bostwick, Nebraska and graduated from Superior High School in 1975. He attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Throughout his lifetime he lived in rural Bostwick, Lincoln, Kearney and Hastings.

He was a member of Gospel Life Fellowship Church in Hastings.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert, sister Sue Epp and infant brother Donald.

He is survived by his mother Jean Keifer of rural Bostwick; sister Linda De Long and husband Cliff of Rapid City, South Dakota; brother James "Pete" Keifer and wife Jeanie of rural Bostwick; brother-in-law Gary Epp and wife Dianna of Hickman, Nebraska; two nephews Tom DeLong of Rapid City and Todd Keifer of rural Bostwick and two nieces Rylee Epp of Lincoln and Keely Epp of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and numerous cousins and friends.

Private family services were held at Evergreen Cemetery in Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Doc A. Davis officiating.

Inurnment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, Nebraska.
