Christian Biography of Richard L Mazour

Richard L Mazour, the son of Louis and Emma (Nejezchleb) Mazour was born on August 16, 1943 at Fairfield, Nebraska. He passed away on April 18, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Society Perkins Pavilion at Hastings Village at the age of 76 years, 8 months, 12 days.

Richard graduated from the Nelson High School in Nelson, Nebraska. He served in the National Guard. He was united in marriage to Cindy Bonner and to this union four children were born. They later divorced. On October 7, 2000 he was united in marriage to Donna Vogelsberg in Superior, Nebraska.

Richard was a member of the Out Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Deweese, Nebraska. He was a lifetime farmer and was engaged in organic farming.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Cindy and two sons, Mike and David.

He is survived by his wife Donna of Deweese, sister, Darlene Lang of Seattle, Washington, his son Joe and wife Gwynne of Deweese, Nebraska, daughter Amy and husband Patrick of Nelson, Nebraska. Seven grandchildren, Kristen and Michael Dunn, Hannah, Anne and Joseph Mazour and MaKayla and Emma Mazour along with a host of other relatives and friends.
