Christian Biography of Rick Leece

Ricky Lynn Leece, the son of Quentin and Shirley J. (Heldt) Leece, was born on March 14, 1955 in Superior, Nebraska. He passed away as the result of an automobile accident on June 1, 2018 in Topeka, Kansas at the age of 63 years, 2 months, 19 days.

Rick attended and graduated from Mankato High School, Mankato, Kansas. He was united in marriage to Vicki Frazier on May 15, 1992 in Superior, Nebraska. He enjoyed woodworking, was an avid pool player, lover of Harley Davidsons and played golf in his pastime.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Quentin and Shirley.

He is survived by his wife Vicki of Topeka, Kansas, his daughters, Raven Genereux and husband Aaron of Wichita, Kansas, Stephanie Hoffman of Greeley, Colorado and Christina Hoffman of Fort Collins, Colorado. Thirteen grandchildren, Owen, Isaac and Ben and Hadley Genereux, Adrienn Perez, Jascinda Rios, Illyana Rios, Emeryk DeLaGarza, Amayas DeLeGaraza, Zachariah Vasquez, Asyria Guzman, Kamari Guzman and Lyrik Ramos. He is also survived by his siblings, Vicki Weber of Superior, Nebraska; Linda Ayers and husband Bruce of Courtland, Kansas; Janene Bagley and husband Richard of Superior, Nebraska; Richard Leece of Salina, Kansas and Quentin J. Leece and wife Patty of Topeka, Kansas along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10:00 am from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior, Nebraska with Pastor David Johnson officiating.

Music was recording of "On Eagle's Wings," and Pink Floyd recorded selections with Carlita Price playing prelude and postlude.

Visitation was held Sunday, June 10 th at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
