Christian Biography of Robert Edward Schneider

Robert Edward Schneider, the son of Charles and Mable (Brassall) Schneider, was born on May 23, 1937 in Springfield, Missouri. He passed away on January 14, 2020 at the Superior Good Samaritan Society at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 82 years, 7 months, 22 days.

Robert was a high school graduate and Marines veteran. Growing up he resided for a time at Boys Town and also in Boonville, Missouri school for boys. He lived in Missouri, Nebraska City, Nelson for 15 years before making Superior his home the past 4 years. He was previously employed at the Superior Post Office as a janitor. He was married to Elaine Berger in October of 1987 at Tecumseh, Nebraska.

Robert enjoyed his western movies and heading to the casinos with his wife to play the slot machines. He loved spending time with his family and friends and later Aseracare Hospice family who cared for him in which he was so grateful.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife Elaine.

Survivors include Patricia former wife and mother of their sons Jason and wife Michelle and Justin all of McAllen, Texas; his brother Chuck of Lincoln, Nebraska; and nephews Rodney Watts and Lloyd Watts both of Superior, Nebraska; other relatives and a host of friends.

Private family memorial services will take place at a later date with burial at Lincoln Memorial in Lincoln, Nebraska.
